Man do I miss these simpler times. I was perfectly happy with those cheesy costumes. I clearly remember being VERY excited about my cheap generic astronaut costume.
Does any kid go out as an astronaut anymore? Does anyone remember the smell of a brand new mask - the kind with the rubber band to keep it on? I also remember the crinkly cellophane on the box cover so you could see the mask.
Jeez - How did we get from that to kids having Hollywood level costumes?
