The Undead Wobble but Refuse to Fall Down

One of the reasons I think Weebles remained popular for so long was their choice of subject matter. I mean, Weebles had horror and Superheroes, things Fisher Price never touched and pretty much all I think about during the day, save for sandwiches and well, you know...

I remember this! Not sure if I had it or not, but I remember playing with it at least once. Loved it.

I had this. And LOVED it.

The secret bookcase... the bats in the treasure chest--FREAKING BATS IN THE TREASURE CHEST-- and the glow in the dark ghost.

My ghost's face had almost rubbed off so that it became a glowing egg... which was weird.

I had this toy! I remember trying to get my Mom to let me stay home from school the day after I got it so I could just play with it already. I love your blog and the chance to relive my childhood through your posts!

My neighbor who was a good 5 years younger than me had this and how I envied it. I was "too old" to have it for myself, being 12, but the secret door bookcase, the glowing ghost and the adventures we had that day left it indelibly etched in my memory. So much so, that about 25 years later, I found myself buying one on eBay. I may have been too old at 12, but 37 was another story.

The Wobbling Dead. They may not seem like much one at a time but you encounter a group of them-well, watch yerself!
