Jeez, this has to be the first time you've floored me! I'm not even sure what to say, except it's a good thing the lad can find his pockets in the dark...
Didn't he try to join the Legion of Super Heroes? Like, Colosal Boy's younger brother? He could grow to titanic perportions too, and stuff people in his pockets?
My most vivid clothing memory as a child: it's around 1973, shopping with mom. I want the plaid freaky bells. Mom, who grew up int the '40s-'50s, tells me, "all the other kids will laugh at you if you wear that."

Which look is cooler? Collar down or collar popped?
A pickpocket's dream!
It looks like the pockets were a last-minute addition...
"Yes, yes, it's nice... but it needs something!"
"Hmmm... zippers? Oversized buttons?"
"No, no... something more obvious!"
"Pockets"
"Brilliant, Bruce! I could kiss you!"
