Biddy Biddy They don't take Diner's Club Buck!

I tell you, whip this puppy out at your next get together and you will be the most talked-about person in the room. Trust me, I have experience in this matter.

Also, I leave a running tape recorder in a briefcase when I exit a room.

Toilet Seats: 1975

I had the Owl one as a kid, being nostalgic for a toilet seat feels like rock bottom.
Things can only up from here!

Also, I had no idea it was #WorldToiletDay

5 Awesome things on eBay this week

Seven different Presto Magix Empire Strikes Back Sets- Ohhhhhhh the nostalgia cuts deeps in these, I'm instantly in the sixth grade getting these taken away! You can't break my spirit Mrs. Luxmore!

Popy Jumbo Machinder Kamen Rider V-3: I won't lie when i close my eyes at night, I see this in-between Bettie Page and sandwiches of course...

Addar Evel Knievel Model Kit- I'm pretty sure these are the kits that Evel sneaks into an orphanage in a cringe inducing scene in the movie "Viva Knievel". It's the one where the crippled orphan drops his crutches and walks to Evel, yeah, that scene...

1970s Superhero Magnets- This is what the fridge in my kitchen looks like, I love these like siblings.

1976 Movie Theater catalog- Everything from popcorn makers to shag carpeting choices, it's the whole Magilla for theatre owners back in the polyester years. I seriously want this for PlaidStallions but can't afford it, so i offer it to the universe.

Toy-Ventures: Box of Mego Knockoffs 2

Everybody loves a sequel and I got a second mystery box of Mego Knock Offs from the UK. This one holds some real surprises for me.

5 Awesome Toys on eBay this week

Fleetwood Manimal Toy- Rack Toys provide an important function, providing merchandise for television shows that get cancelled mid season. Case in Point "Manimal" a series that only got 13 shows but somehow Fleetwood managed to create a bunch of figurines under the banner (these were not based on the show) You can see the full range here.

Wind Up IQ9 from Star Blazers- I think I would have wept as a child if I had found this wind up character from Star Blazers. Between this and Battle of the Planets, Star Blazers action figures were my biggest "I wish someone made those" requests as a kid.

If you're not familiar with the brilliant Star Blazers toys from Japan, check out my video about them.

: Japan renamed Stretch "Mr. X" and painted his hair dark brown, he was also a wrestler in this world as you could buy Sumo Robes for him as well.  If you think that's cool, check out what they did to Stretch Monster.

Johnny West Store Display- I never had any Johnny West figures as a kid but i do remember seeing a display like this and being somewhat impressed. I adore stuff like this and glad it survived.

Battle of the Planets Figures from France- I'm not sure what happened to Jason, although if you're a follower of the original Gatchaman this is what the team looks like after season one (SPOILERS!). You rarely see these guys complete like this.

Toy-Ventures- Evil Cowboys by Zodiac Toys

This week we talk about one of my "white whales" in knock-off monster toy collecting, the elusive and vexing "Evil Cowboys" action figures made by Zodiac Toys in the late 1970s. I wish I knew more about these but here is everything i have on the subject.

Five Awesome Things on eBay this week

1977 Space:1999 Calendar, not only is this totally bad ass but I can reuse it in 2022!

Matchbox Fighting Furies Ghost of Captain Kidd- Fighting Furies is this wonderfully underrated toy line from the mid 1970s that had Mason Reese as a spokesperson. It doesn't really get enough credit, especially considering the third character introduced into the series was a freaking ghost who glowed in the dark. It's one of the coolest action figures ever.

Black Hole Towel- I don't think I have to justify why this would be here. I wasn't even looking for Black Hole stuff and this came up, it was meant to be.

Italian Superman Watergun- I like mashups like this, it's a retooled phaser, normally sold for Batman that somebody slapped a Superman sticker on it. So while Batman using a pistol always seemed weird, it's even weirder to think of Superman having any use for one!

Japanese Suckerman- I didn't know this was a thing, it's totally awesome!
