The Greatest Appliance Ever

"The Baconer" was like a toaster but instead of rotten ol' bread, it cooked something important, Bacon! I think of all my thoughts in a day, about one third are bacon related. I've thought about trying to track one of these bad boys down on the secondary market but my wife has this whole "me living to 40" hangup. Drag.

Homer Simpson could've made those manufacturers rich.

Wow! I'd love to have one of these now. I love bacon. Had myself a bacon sandwich this morning.

I just bought one of these at a Goodwill store for $5. I couldn't pass it up... unfortunately the bacon cooks up a little weird...

I got one in 1976. It was wonderful. As the bacon cooked the fat drained away and the geometry of the device prevented the bacon from curling up as it cooked as it was pressed between the black surface and the stainless steel doors!. Not easy to keep clean though.
