Village People or James Bond?

What a tough choice kids had in 1979, smooth as glass spy James Bond or those "Whacky" Village People? In 1979 it was an honest dilemma, now those pictures look like different sections of an adult video store.

"I'd get the biker son, he looks tough, that Roger Moore is a cissy!"

Please tell me that at least one of my readers wore the "Glenn" and is willing to share photographs...

A kid choosing between these costumes is like the time Homer was worried whether Bart would choose Twinkies or Hostess Sno Balls for dessert.

I still find it unbelievable that any kid ever wore one of those costumes. A hobo would have been better...

estly had NO idea what the Village People were about when I was an innocent. I just knew that as a young man, there was a place that I could go ;)

I'm with wee67. I had no idea of course at the time. Heck, I didn't know George Michael was gay when I was in high school circa '88-92.

I thought the village people wanted us to know about the Navy and the YMCA! No wonder my uncle who was in the Navy, didn't like the song but couldn't really tell me why, when I played it on my record player as a kid.

Gotta love the 70's, when a kid could unironically dress up as a leather queen for Halloween.
