The 1977 notion that young men would enjoy wearing unsold Maternity tops from the previous year unfortunately fell flat. Personally, I could use some along a few of those pants with the spandex fronts....
I must say that every on of the fashion posts makes me so very happy that I was in grade school in the seventies snd that my parents were ex-hippies who never latched onto the idea of 'high fashion'

Well... not everything you find in a catalog is aimed at the hetero crowd. (And what exactly is that "uptown feeling" anyway?)
Must have had some leftover Hawaiian muumuu fabric that year and didn't know what else to do with it.
