Cirque du Weeble

As I've mentioned multiple times, my parents denied me the Weeble experience, as we were a devout Fisher Price Little People family. Life was good, so I'm not complaining but the grass always looked pretty green in Weeble-ville.

I had that Weebles Haunted House. Don't remember too much abut it except that there was a wavy funhouse style mirror that also rotated to allow access to the space behind it. Kinda cool.

I know I played with the haunted house, but I don't remember if I had it or some one else did. I loved it.

I had the haunted house too. Wish I still had it so my son could play with it (and me too LOL)

You're in good company, because we were a Little People family too - even my grandparents and aunt kept my older cousins' Little People toys after they outgrew them for me to play with. My favorite was the farm and the boat. :)

I've told this story before (and quite possibly here), but my neighbor had the Weebles Haunted House and oh how I coveted it (despite the 10th commandment!) He was several years younger than me, but I would go over and play with him just to get my hands on those Weebles. The glow in dark ghost one of course was my favorite. We'd charge him under a lamp and turn the lights out. Oooooh, SCARY! Finally, as an adult, I acquired one on eBay. Some years after that, I was at a garage sale and found the Weebles roof in a box of quarter items. I picked it up to have an extra one. When I was paying for it, the seller said, "Oh, that goes with the Haunted House that last person bought. It must have fallen out of the box." Missed it by that much...

I had that haunted house - and still have it! But no Weebles to go with it. I put Little People in it. I knew it wasn't actually FP, but I didn't know it was Weebles. I thought it was Playskool or something like that.
