Six Million Dollar Christmas

I can't help but associate Lee Majors with Christmas, he was present at some really good ones!

Steve's totally doing the Elaine Benes dance on that shirt.

I had the figure and couple of mission outfits, but I really wanted that Bionic transport and Repair Station... Never did get it though.

This makes me wish there were toys based on the TV series version of The Incredible Hulk. I would have loved to have a toy version of the machine Banner used to absorb gamma rays. You could have put an action figure David Banner in there and everything!

"radio works without batteries or electricity.." Uh... what? I guess Steve really did have some cutting edge tech.

Why is there a radar dish on Steve's iron lung?

YesterdayIsNow because it wasn't just a repair station, it was also a transport pod!

Ah, I read it more closely. So he's flying into space in a CAT scanner? Holy claustrophobia!

I had the rocket / repair station! One thing I realized soon after getting it was that the blue nosecone of the rocket (aka radar cone in the photo) fitted perfectly into the blue rocket engine base (aka microscope in the photo), and there was a hole in the top that perfectly fitted Maskatron's clamp arm extension. So it became my own version of the Russian space probe from the one episode of the TV show, except with a sort of rocket-hover base instead of tank treads. Ah, the ingenuity of youth.

In the mid 1970's it wasn't Christmas if there wasn't a Six Million Dollar Man toy on your list. I've taken very good care of every item in that ad.
