Robbie sent in some great shots for us to enjoy this week starting with him and the Hulk at the Kentucky State Fair in the 1980s. Thanks Rob, some mall appearance shots are always a welcome site, especially great ones like this.
Speaking of Superheroes: it's Free Comic Book Day today, a great opportunuity to bring the family to your local comic shop, get some free books and maybe support a local independant retailer while you're there.

Who ever thought it was a good idea to put Li'l Orphan Annie hair on The Hulk? Wouldn't it have been easier on the costume designer to just give him straight hair like the real Hulk?
And more importantly, why does it bother me so much?
The Hulk is apparently made of broccoli, making the trip fun AND healthy!
Ew look at Hulkster's pants
And perhaps most importantly, every single thing about the Hulk makes him the reverse of somebody you should send to go hang out with children. He's an avatar of pure rage who's animated primarily by the desire to smash anybody who messes with him. Sound like the kind of guy you should surround with a crowd of shrieking little kids? At least with somebody like Superman you can be sure that there's no failure mode the guy can get into where a crowd of kids and parent's gets stepped on. The Hulk? Not so much...
