1975 Childworld Flier

As far as 70s toystores go, none are as far remembered and beloved as Childworld, a chain which had at one point 180 stores across the united states. This 1975 flier preserves what they had to offer during that time including the greats like Mego Star Trek and Planet of the Apes:

Ah, Child World, so many memories.

Ours was at White City Plaza across the road from the cinema where I saw Star Wars for the first time.

It's a Micheal's now...

I can't imagine a child from the 70's being unable to find SEVERAL things you lusted for back in the day.

I really love your blog and have said so out loud over on my own blog by giving you a big giant plug (for what it's worth since no one seems to be reading my blog lately.)

Anyhoo... thanks for always making me smile.

Thank you! I miss Child World. Ours is a Marden's now, and they revamped the plaza a few years ago, and destroyed the ramparts.
