Super Friends go all Galactic!

My pal Chris found this toy hunting recently, I don't know it's origins but I know it's probably from 1978. 

it kind of reminds me about how "Galactic" the Super Friends got during this period in time, it seemed like every week they were in space fighting a guy with a "laser sword". 

Anybody know where this is from?

Star Wars 3-D Poster Art

As cool as the Star Wars set is, I am disappointed that the Travolta set doesn't also come with a mask.

Fantasy Island Poster Art Set

Thanks to this site, I found one of my top five personal wants and I know it's hard to believe but this is done without irony. I really liked Fantasy Island as a kid and this poster art set is one of the cooler bits of merchandise it got.

Look how pimp Mr. Roarke and Tattoo look there!


I've honestly been looking for this set for years, it rarely pops up, unlike Star Wars which is constantly available.

Like all Craft Master Poster Art sets, the art is phenomenal but I'm honestly unsure of how to get the results depicted on the package with those markers.

1976 Langley Star Trek Poster Catalog

Unlike today, Langely and Associates was one of those rare places in the mid 70s where you could buy fan merchandise, their catalog was loaded with everything from King Kong posters to a whole selection of 8" by 10" stills from "The Prisoner".

However, the big thing was a wonderful array of Star Trek merchandise, particularly an amazing amount of groovy posters. I've seen some of these in comic book ads but never in full glorious colour, check em out after the jump!

Battlestar Galactica Poster Art

Please give a warm welcome to my latest obsession, 70s poster art sets. As a young lad I ruined many of these with my lack of both talent and patience.

I've been secretly admiring these on Ebay until one bout of sleeplessness resulted in a surprise parcel in the form of this set and it is a beauty! 

Seriously I don't remember buying this...

Look at how beautiful the art is on this thing, you don't need to colour it all.

One thing I want to point out is, this is how they suggest you color  these pages.
