Faced with this decision as a child, I went for Super Joe and you know what? I still would, especially since I don't have a "Gor: the King of the Terrons" doll. What about you folks?
Memories of what an ungrateful little child I was. I remember being angry at my mom because I really wanted the BSG Viper but my brother and I both ended up with Raiders. Found out years later that she'd driven to or called every toy store in the phonebook trying to find one.
There was a Child World in Quincy, MA - six or seven miles away from my home - and it was located a block away from Kresgees. All that Mego joy on one street.

That middle mask -- Guessing it was designed for kids to combine with an old toy army helmet for a cheap Darth Vader.

BSG. No question. In fact, I still have both my original Viper and Raider.
I had the Cylon Raider, so definitely the Viper.
