Dear Santa, If you have any of these stereos hidden in the back somewhere, I'm your boy. Also, if you're going to the back, I have a long list of outdated toys I'll take off your hands as well.
That was a 'rich person' TV for sure, $799.95 in the mid-70s is around $3500 today! I don't remember the resolution ever being that clear, either. We got out first colour TV in 1979 and if I recall correctly my parents had to borrow money from the bank to buy it lol.
I would love one of those compact stereos, probably sounds like crap but it looks cool.
