The Amazing Spider-Van

I bet the Hulk's pick up has truck nuts.

"... big decal of Spidey doing his thing, shooting his web and lunging at his ensnared prey."

Er... that may be more than I ever needed to know about Spidey's "thing."

As for Hulk, what does he haul in his pickup? Does he do landscaping jobs between issues?

Why does the Hulk need a pick-up truck? And is the suspension strong enough to hold him, anyway?

I think this lead into another DC/Marvel feud when the tailgating Hulk rear-ended the Batmobile....

'BAT CAR GO TOO SLOW!!! HULK SMASH!!!'

That "big Spidey decal" was an absolute (insert serious profanity here) to apply correctly. This Anon ended up getting several of these vans, for basically a pittance in trades with other kids because they botched the decals, which led to a (suitably 70s) van-customizing business. I washed off the botched decals and, very, very carefully used dry-transfers to apply "custom Spidey graphics" on the sides.

This made the vans "cool again" and worth a LOT moar in trading value when their former owners saw a professional looking job.

Colorforms made the dry-transfers, even though they weren't "Colorforms" per se. I'd like to use the brand name but I'm petrified what YesterdayIsNow will say...

LOL! Was Spidey on some kind of registry in the 70s?

A momentary serious note...

Such registries didn't exist until the Jacob Wetterling Act of 1994. Nobody even knew who was on those registries until the passage of Megan's Law in 1996.

Spidey has always been an okay guy. He even had first-hand experience with this lamentable subject.

This Anon had Mego Spidey and he never ONCE gave me any cause for doubt. Last I checked, Spidey is not only married but happily married and God bless him for it.

(totally SFW)

When a man is holding onto his lady like that, you don't have to ask why he's got such a dopey grin.

Fairly safe to say she totally okay with him "doing his thing, shooting his web and lunging at his ensnared prey".

Just poking fun at the odd ad copy, no need for a character witness.

Is he still married in the comics? Seems to be a teenage again in recent films and cartoons.

I'm hoping he is, just because this Anon is a sap for happy endings. Haven't really followed a Spidey series for a long time, Y_I_N. Spidey's mostly from my childhood.

It's kinda tough to tell since Peter Parker exists in the "Marvel Multi-Verse" with alternate realities. *sigh* Without starting a huge comic-nerd rant, that kind of story-telling is why I stay away from Marvel/ DC's lines these days. I mean...

Just scrolling down and looking at the plot developments (story lines that spanned years in some cases) is giving me the onset of a mild headache. If other people love it, cool for them.

I don't always read comics, but when I do, there are plenty of other studios publishing every month.

Yeah, I don't have much interest in any post-1990 comics. Retconning gives me a headache too.
