Wonderful Wonderbug

Steve F sent in this killer scan from a Duncan Catalog that featured something I've never seen before, a toy car based on the Sid and Marty Krofft series Wonderbug! Wonderbug was a segment on the Krofft Supershow and I doubt I missed an episode.

I have no idea if these hit stores, I've never seen one on the secondary market but that is by no means conclusive evidence, what I don't know could fill a warehouse.

Did anyone have this? Drop a line! This is the only other Wonderbug toy that I've seen, I know it was made:

I would have freakin' LOVED the Wonderbug as a toy when I was a kid! Very cool.

When I first saw this post I was thinking "Wow a Wonderbug, sweet!" That would be cool.

I loved the Wonderbug when I was little. For awhile as an adult I was starting to think I imagined it!

I had several of the wonderbug small toy cars. I remember almost buying a pedal car but thought i was too old. no telling what it would be worth today. I found 2 of the small cars in a lot on ebay once. I think I gace 30.00 for all of it. The cars were missing the mouth parts. I had a friend redo them as best I could. They looked pretty good. I listed one on ebay to get a idea of what they were worth. They ended up bringing 150.00 a peice. Needing money at the time i sold them but really hated to.
