I love this ad for the "Star Trek metal detection probe" or as I call it the "Social Life Eradicator" has a slightly worried looking Mr Spock overseeing this action. He's not liking this one bit.
Hmm, I remember when seeing the phrase 'solid-state circuitry' meant something was scientifically advanced and used as a selling point for products... Very apropos to come up in a 70s blog! I wonder why I never heard of this? I used to think I knew all about the Trek merchandise of the 70s. But very cool post, thanks!
