Yes, it could save marriages. I would never feel the oppression of a loveless marriage if you layered on the daily demand having to match your spouses entire outfit, rasberry suede boots and all.
I know it sounds crazy, but in the 70's and 80's many schools had Sadie Hawkins Day dances where girls asked guys and couples dressed alike. I live in the Midwest and can vouch for this insanity of matching couples.

OK... putting aside the fact that those are clearly the most unflattering pants ever, it's really hard to tell which of the two is the most femmiest.
The boots appear to be covered in the same stuff toy Skeletor's mount Panthor was covered with.
Is that a younger guy? Getting some serious Mrs. Robinson vibe here.
