Dinky Space!


I love the fact that the popularity of Star Wars actually helped Dinky sell more Eagles and UFO interceptors despite the fact that both those shows were long out of production.

    Thunderbirds and UFO don't even get a mention in the ad? Looks like they're trying to make them appear to be part of the other series by matching colors. Sneaky.

    Actually, they do get name checked. It’s just in smaller print. Thunderbirds weren’t as well known in the states and UFO wasn’t being seen much by 1977. As far as the colors go, non-authentic colors were standard operating procedure for Dinky.
