I totally had this, and it was awesome. The magnetic letters/metal roof was a stroke of genius.
My cousin (who I grew up with) had a lot of the original Peg-Anatomy Little People, and in fact her mom still has the Garage, Airplane, and maybe even School Bus. Some of the little kids were playing with them at our last family get-together, and having just as much fun as we did, all those years ago.
I don't think Zoobles will have that kind of staying power! ;)
Oh my goodness! I forgot I had this until I saw this image. I have fond memories washing over me. One in particular is I remember my sister using the chalk to illustrate what the dashed and double lines on roadways were meant to do. So crazy.
Due to recent events, I'm limiting comments to google account holders only. Sorry if you're a decent person affected by this but the spam has gotten weird.
Cool. Remember this well!

Every child of the 70's fantasy: pretending to be in school.
ReplyDeleteI never had one of these for my own, but my grandparents and aunt had one that I played with whenever I stayed at their houses. Loved those!
