Lovin' this selection of Party masks I found in a UK toy catalog, I'm assuming those are the Ben Cooper Universal Monsters masks being sold as a set without smocks, the things you learn!
That's really neat! I actually really like that nurse's costume, LOL. Ben Cooper was quite the racket back then, wasn't it? I had three or four Ben Cooper costumes from the early- to mid-'80s which I'd worn as a kid that I kept up until 2 years ago when we moved. I loved those crazy things, even though the masks made you feel like you were going to hyperventilate LOL!
Due to recent events, I'm limiting comments to google account holders only. Sorry if you're a decent person affected by this but the spam has gotten weird.
Wow, those Kabuki/Power Ranger-esge masks are a trip!

ReplyDeleteThis ad just gave me a great title for a new indy movie: "Roy Rogers and Neil Armstrong Battle for the Sun."
ReplyDeletei had a spaceman costume when i was a kid (in '70s UK)...and pretty sure this was it!
ReplyDeleteI think the "kabuki" masks are Guy masks, for Guy Fawkes-- ISTR seeing a Guy with one on Barking High Street.
