I'm trying to guess where else an outfit like this would fly, it's either an assistant to a magician or a regional Romper Room host. If I had to guess though, I think there's play-doh and balloons in those pockets....

I really think that the obvious zipper is another testament to those times. I can't think of many other eras where the zipper is displayed proudly rather than hidden in shame. :P
