Toyfair 1974: Ideal's Evel Knievel was one of the hottest action figures going as this less than subtle ad from Ideal suggests, if you grew up in suburbia chances are you knew at least one kid with this thing.
I remember asking my brother "What is this cane he carries?". He said "It's his 'swagger stick'". I never knew what that meant, but just accepted it and would refer to it that way. To this day, I'm not sure what it means.

I know I had one! The doll wasn't very posable and would frequently fall off the bike, but we were happier with less back then.
