This has been a recent topic on the Megomuseum forums and I thought it would be perfect to discuss. A lot of people seemed to remember something about this and then enter Craig Crane with this amazing UK version of the program to this very surreal show. Craig also has a blog where he plans to animate Palitoy Action Man dolls, should be fun to watch.
Actually the marriage of the live action batman series with the looney toons characters makes sense if you consider they were afternoon staples in syndication. If you saw this as a kid and have pictures I would love to feature them here.
Have a safe and Happy New Year!

that Wonder Woman is, er, pretty well put together for a kiddie show! i guess they figured they needed something to keep the Dads interested...
ReplyDeleteThe Wonder Women is very sexy indeed. I love how on the poster she is posed in a very comic book-y pose, just like a drawing of her would be.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
so funny!
ReplyDeleteYeah, for a second there i thought it said "Roger Corman Presents" under Wonder Woman.
ReplyDeleteMan, I'd just want to see that villain sing-along!
ReplyDeleteVery "Likable" Wonder Woman.
ReplyDeleteJohn Hildman
Hey, I also found the program from the same show, with a full color mid section and the rest is for colouring in with crayon.
ReplyDeleteOh my God! I saw that show when it came to my home town! I loved it, my Mom bought me a nice Bugs Bunny figure I wish I had maintained.
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing this as a kid in NYC...does anyone have a video of this??? Someone out there must have a video of this play somewhere on video...I rememeber noting that Catwoman wasn't dressed the same as Julie Newmar had been in the Batman tv series...why does DC insist on always putting Catwoman in a purple dress???

If you're interested in a few more pictures about this, go here http://hammerco.com/bin/Default.aspx and type in bugs bunny in the search field. There looks to have been three shows.
ReplyDeleteThat is just too much!
ReplyDeleteawesome!!
ReplyDelete...and, Catwoman was in the purple dress in the 40s and 50s, then again in the early-mid 70s....the Julie Newmar look was pretty much for the TV show ('tho the comics did a short-lived version--in green (!)for about a second or two...
Wonder Woman looks like actress Joanna Cameron who played Isis in the 70's Saturday morning show.
