These cool BooBerry and Frankenberry puppets were in the 1977 Kenner catalog, which makes sense considering that Kenner was owned by General Mills. Booberry was my favourite cereal as a kid, they stopped making anything but Count Chocula here in the late seventies.
I've noticed that stores will often stock Booberry & Frankenberry during Halloween. Start checking the shelves!
ReplyDeleteI have a box of BooBerry on the shelf at home right now.. We get it all year round here. :)
ReplyDeleteGrrrr! This is one of those things that makes being Canadian sucky.
ReplyDeleteGeneral Mills used to let you order it directly from their site (the other Monster cereals too!). I just checked and they aren't doing that anymore. Damn. I have found it at Target before, though.
ReplyDeleteBooberry always looked kind of drunk to me. The ghost of Otis...
ReplyDeleteWal-Mart sells Booberry and Frankenberry cereals.
