Goodbye to an icon

I can't not mention the unfortunate passing of Farah Fawcett on this blog, if the seventies have a representative, Farrah would likely be the supreme candidate.
She was a Charles Angel, a runner, she was married to the Bionic Man, Girls wanted to be her and her hair style rocked a nation, guys being guys bought her poster at an alarming rate.
70s kids and Gen Xers, we've lost our Marylin Monroe....

  1. Like Robert Mitchum and Jill Ireland, Farrah got screwed by dying the same day as someone much more "newsworthy."

  2. Nice tribute to her. I was sad to hear of her passing. R.I.P.

  3. And like Princess Diana stole the spotlight from Mother Teresa, so has Michael Jackson done it to Farrah. Oh well, may they all rest in piece. (You too Ed McMahon)

  4. I posted about this too. But I have to comment on the Farrah make-up center. My sister had one of those and I'd forgotten all about it till I saw it here.
