This year, I found one on ebay with not-outrageous shipping fees and surprised her for her birthday. She is happy with him. :)Caffeinated Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18116651473308629663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26874882.post-25960574715176300462018-12-10T20:47:06.349-05:002018-12-10T20:47:06.349-05:00"there isn't a single thing on this page ..."there isn't a single thing on this page I would not accept with open arms."
hint-hint-hint-hint-hint-hint...

For what it's worth, if this Anon ever sees a single thing on this page at any of his regular thrift-store, yard-sale or flea-market runs, I'll be glad to send it to you on my own dime out of gratitude for the scans you posted back here.
http://plaidstallions.blogspot.com/2018/09/mpc-star-wars-story.html

...except for [14]. You could have every one of those MPC models still in the shrink-wrap and I wouldn't trade. Those Sears outdoor electrical cords are probably the best ever sold to consumers. If you ever see one, grab it. My dad bought the 90-ft. and it still hasn't shown any signs of cracking or separating near the plugs, even after nearly half a century of use during brutal northern New England winters. Whatever formula they used for making the plastic back then is almost impossibly stable.
