Amazingly this bike probably saved my life in 1977. I was struck from behind by a car going fairly fast. The impact with the rigid chassis of the bike knocked me over the handlebars. The bike and I both survived with just scratches, and a bent pedal. On the down side, it was very heavy. I really liked the look of the bike at the time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26874882.post-71315661222066549372011-07-25T11:57:42.166-04:002011-07-25T11:57:42.166-04:00My brother and I both got this bike for Christmas ...My brother and I both got this bike for Christmas in 1976. They were extremely heavy and actually made by Montgomery Ward. Been looking for one to put into my old "toy" collection.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26874882.post-22516944979610994442010-07-07T17:52:06.491-04:002010-07-07T17:52:06.491-04:00This is like the Evel Knievel bike! This is like the Evel Knievel bike!Retro Houndhttp://www.retrohound.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26874882.post-39856069728280121612010-07-07T12:25:08.193-04:002010-07-07T12:25:08.193-04:00Don't forget a baseball card wedged on the tir...Don't forget a baseball card wedged on the tire to make a "motor" sound.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
