I remember at 7 yrs. old having to decide between the articulate detail of that Dinky die-cast Eagle 1, or the sheer immensity of the Mattel Eagle 1 toy. It was actually a tough choice at first, but then I settled with the Mattel toy, which remains the most awesome toy I ever owned. I'd forgotten about having that large model of the Eagle (the capsule and the rocket boosters disconnected and connected together, didn't they?).
